Acne Is An Internal issue

YOUR ACNE IS AN INTERNAL ISSUE.
Sure, sometimes acne can be due to dirty surfaces, such as an overused pillow case, cell phones, or even chemicals in our beauty products but consistent, inflammatory and constantly present acne is different. In most cases, acne is related to a deeper issue happening within our system and manifests itself out into skin. This is not something that can be treated with just topical intervention, but rather needs internal work too.
.
First off, WHAT IS ACNE?
It is localized skin inflammation that is due to the overactivity of the oil glands, typically developing when the sebaceous gland is clogging a pore with oil, dead skin cells or bacteria.
.
Okay, so now that we know that, we have 3 things to look at:
🔹️An over production of oil- why is our skin feeling like it needs to produce excess oil?
In many cases, oil is produced as a protective mechanism to keep the skin hydrated and trap bacteria from invading our sensitive layer. So my question to you would be WHY does your skin feel like it needs to keep spurting out this protective layer of oil? WHAT is it trying to protect you from? Are you continuously stripping the oil away? Is it toxins? Is it hormonal?
🔹️Why isn’t your skin regenerating and getting rid of dead skin cells? Just like with slow regeneration anywhere else in the body, the skin shouldn’t be something we overlook. This is what we would consider a slow healing and metabolic process. A slow metabolism can be linked to poor thyroid function, blood sugar dysregulation, stress, over exercising, under eating, and more.
🔹️Why is your skin’s microbiome imbalanced? This is when you would want to ask yourself if you are dealing with any infection or gut dysbiosis. Are you struggling with an emunctory organ, such as poor liver detoxification? Is there a possibility your gut lining is weak, leaving you susceptible to developing food intolerances and react to things you eat/breathe/live around?
.
Please keep in mind when asking these questions that your skin is an ORGAN, it is not just a carpet you have over you. It literally has its own function and is your first line of defense to the outside world.
